Day2 Furniture Consultant Iain Robinson has returned from Sweden's capital city sharing with us the highlights of Stockholm Furniture Fair...

The past few years have seen a rise in Scandinavian design, which was particularly prominent at this years design show.  Particular highlights included the usual culprits with new product launches from Fritz Hansen, Carl Hansen and Hay with their Palissade collection. Along with other furniture and lighting brands such as +Halle and their Nest Collection, Lammults with their Attach table and Penne chair. Other brands which really stood out include the blending of brand new product and the resurection of the older from Gubi and the bright colours and bold shapes from Bla Station.

We got an incredibly good feeling about Stockholm this year and like London is getting busier every year. Having an international aesthetic that is so easily transferred worldwide is making Stockholm, like London, somewhere where we can seek out inspiration on so many different levels. We will be returning next year to see the how it has evolved.

In the meantime, see below a few products which caught our eye. Enjoy!
